Steven "Steve" Craig Madsen

   Steven “Steve” Craig Madsen, 62, of Sioux City died Thursday, December 27, 2018, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

   Memorial services will 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with Reverend Merrill Muller officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

   Steven Craig, the son of David Alan and Helen Louise (Holden) Madsen, was born July 14, 1956, in Sioux City, Iowa.  He attended school in Sioux City.

   Steve had lived in Houston, TX, Chattanooga, TN, Secaucus, NJ and various places in Iowa working as a mechanic for several trucking companies.  He loved to ride motorcycles and loved cars.

   He is survived by his mom, Helen Madsen; two brothers: David (Barb) Madsen of Arlington, TX and Mike (Judy) Madsen of Pleasant Hill, IA and several nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death by his dad, David Madsen; one sister, Shari (Dan) Peterson; and his grandparents: Lars and Hanna Holden and Vic and Leone Madsen.
