Theresa J. (Parker) Brown

Theresa J. (Parker) Brown, 57, of Carroll, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City. A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in South Sioux City. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com

 

Theresa was born on January 5, 1965 in Sioux City to Charles and Barbara (Clark) Parker. She attended West High School, and went on to obtain a degree in Graphic Communications from WITCC. Though she was born in Sioux City, Theresa lived in Independence, Missouri; Sioux City; South Sioux City; and Whiting, Iowa, before settling in Carroll, Nebraska, where she remained until her passing.

 

On May 1, 1981 she married Steve Heinemann in Sioux City. The two later divorced. On December 29, 2016 she married Michael “Mike” Brown in Pierce, Nebraska.

 

Theresa worked for Adcraft from 1996 to 2015, and had worked for Great Dane Trailers in Wayne, Nebraska since 2016.

 

In her free time, Theresa enjoyed gardening, camping, doing a variety of arts and crafts, loved birds and especially cardinals, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. She had a huge love for animals.

 

 

She is survived by her husband, Mike Brown of Carroll, Nebraska; her children: John Heinemann (Stephanie Hodgins) of Onawa, Iowa; Steven (JC) Heinemann of South Sioux City; and Misty Al-ghadban of Ocean Park, Washington; sister, LeeAnn Muilenburg of South Sioux City; brother, Chad Parker of Grain Valley, Missouri; twin sisters Staci and Christi Springer, both of Independence, Missouri; and brother, Donivan Springer of Independence, Missouri.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son, Corey Heinemann.
