Timothy Lee Shultz, 64, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital from complications of cancer, not from Covid-19.
A private funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with a public visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., also at the chapel. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, only 15 persons will be allowed in the chapel at a time for the visitation and masks are required. Timothy was born November 29, 1955 in Estherville, IA to Bert W. and Virginia (Sharar) Shultz. He passed away just a few days shy of his 65th birthday. Tim enjoyed fishing, boating, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Virginia Shultz of Spirit Lake, IA; sons Corey Shultz, Josh Shultz, Brandon (Ashley Greiner-Ebaugh) Shultz, Nick (Steph Ferdig) Shultz, all of Sioux City, Shannon Shultz of Texas; daughter Savannah Amdahl of Terril, IA; grandchildren Casey Shultz, Kierra Shultz, Breanna Shultz, Skyler Shultz, Ethan Shultz, Wyatt Shultz, Ally Shultz, Paige Shultz, Lexi Shultz, Lucas Shultz, Caiden Johnson; siblings Valerie (Curt) Hancock of Mount Vernon, IA, Tyrone (Diane) Shultz of Westminster, CO, Vanessa (Kirk) Edwards of Topeka, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Bert W. Shultz, sister Julie Jean Shultz, and life-long companion Jane Caviness.
