Timothy J. "T.J." Sibert

Timothy J. “T.J.” Sibert, 59, of South Sioux City, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Continental Springs Nursing Home in South Sioux City. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  T.J. was born on September 15, 1959 in Sioux City to Nancy (Keleher) Sibert and Robert Sibert, Sr. On September 15, 1978 he married Karen Mast in Elk Point, South Dakota.

 

T.J. worked for IBP and was a Cheese Maker at the Dodge Dairy in West Point, Nebraska for several years.

 

His love was his grandchildren, but T.J. also enjoyed darts, playing pool, NASCAR racing, WWE wrestling, and his all-time favorite activity: rollerskating! (Ha ha!)

 

Survivors include his two daughters: Kristi Sibert of South Sioux City, and Kayla Sotelo (Alex) of South Sioux City; his son: Kory Sibert of Sioux City; his sister: Rhonda Hawthorne (Bruce) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren: Monica Sibert, Alec Sotelo, and Alaina Sotelo; and many nieces and nephews.

 

T.J. was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Robert Sibert, Jr.; grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
