Timothy L. Stusse

Timothy L. Stusse, 62, of Oelwein, Iowa formerly of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Calvary Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be Monday, May 23, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Tim was born the son of Darrell and Venita (Eimers) Stusse on November 13, 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa.  He graduated from North High School and attended Briar Cliff University.  Tim married Roxanne Peterson and to this union a son, Timothy Jr. was born.  He later married Patricia Reicks on June 9, 2018 in Sioux City.  They made their home in Oelwein, Iowa for the last several years. 

Tim has been with Tyson for 41 years.  He has been a safety manager for many years and earned several awards.

Tim enjoyed fishing and his many trips to Minnesota.  He was a longtime avid Hawkeyes and 49ers fan.  He also enjoyed bowling, playing Santa around the holiday season, and the companionship of his beloved dog, Matilda. 

Tim is survived by his wife, Patricia Stusse of Oelwein, Iowa; son, Timothy Stusse, Jr. of Waverly, Tennessee; parents, Darrell and Venita Stusse of Sioux City; step-children, Shane (Brandy) Bailey of Sioux City, Alicia Ege of Sioux City, Michael (Angie) Ege of Sioux City, Vanesa (Dan) Ege of Sioux City, Garrett Woodson of Des Moines, Selena (Alex) Evans of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Seth (Jenny) Woodson of Rochester, Minnesota; sisters, Jacqueline (Terry) Albracht, Jodi Stusse, and Julie Lee; and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tabatha and brother, Thomas.
