Timothy J. Wells

Timothy J. Wells, 71, of Sioux City, IA passed away January 29, 2022 at a local hospital.  A funeral service will be held Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Church.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery. Tim was born on March 19, 1950 in Shelburne Falls, MA to Walter and Marguerite Wells.  He moved to the Siouxland area when he was young.  He served in the United States Army and was in Vietnam before being honorably discharged. In 1974, he met and started seeing Patricia White.  They married in 1977 and were married for 23 years.  Tim worked as a superintendent electrician for the City of Sioux City for over 30 years.  His faith was important to him and he was a member of Cornerstone Church for many years.  He enjoyed boating and spending time with family, especially his grandkids.

Left to cherish his memory are the greatest joys of his life: his beloved daughters, Ashley Wells (Jason), Sioux City, Lindsey Wells (Josh), Sioux City, Courtney (Tony) Bahr, Beresford, SD; and his only son, Jason Wells, Sioux City; grandchildren: Cameron, Cayden, Harper, Jayce, Anthony, Tyler, Hunter, Ella and Hazel; nephews: Todd (Lesli) Lien and their daughters, Cary and Suthy and Kirk (Brandie) Lien and their children, Kevin and Braelynn, all of Sioux City, and Christopher (Jennifer Meierhenry) Storms, and their daughter Gwendolyn of Omaha.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
