Timothy W. Wilson

June 26, 1959 — September 17, 2022

Timothy W. Wilson, 63 of South Sioux City passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022.  Abiding by his wishes his body will be cremated and no services will be held.

Tim was born the son of Lester and Bonnie (Clark) Wilson on June 26, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska.  He received his education in the South Sioux City schools.  Northeast Nebraska was always home for him.  Tim worked several jobs in the mechanic and engine repair fields.  He was also self-employed for several years.

Tim was at his best when he was spending time outdoors.  He loved to fish, landscape, and garden.  He also found joy in creating and working on things.  He had a natural gift to fix just about anything and he could always be found working on a project out in the garage.  He was a fan of classic rock and country music.  He enjoyed going to concerts and watching countless old Western movies.  He was an outspoken Chevy man and always made his opinion known when a family member made the poor choice of buying a Ford.  He enjoyed spending evenings on his CB radio talking to truckers passing through.

You can’t talk about Tim without mentioning his love of dogs.  He had generations of Pomeranians and sadly outlived and had to leave behind his faithful companion, Toby, whom he loved dearly.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Cassandra (Scott) Lanoue; grandchildren, Scott, Jr. and Lilyanna; sisters, Norma Sogn, Peggy Gregg, Mary McDaniel, and Dianna Hauck; and lifelong friend and caregiver, Christine Ramirez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rebecca, and brother, Larry.
