Victor J. Arreola, 53, of South Sioux City, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010.Services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Father Oscar Perrez officiating. Visitation with the family present will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.Victor was born in Tenamaxtlan, Mexico on October 11, 1956 to Jose and Celia Arreola. His family moved to California when he was 14. After school, he worked as an auto mechanic. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as a chef. Victor moved to South Sioux City six years ago and worked at Tyson in Dakota City, Nebraska.He enjoyed working on cars, gardening, riding motorcycles, many kinds of animals, giving his nephews lots of chocolates, and beer on Sundays. He was always very generous and giving with people, a great father, and a great uncle.Survivors include his parents, Jose and Celia Arreola; 1 son, Nathaniel Arreola; 1 daughter, Belinda Arreola; brothers and sisters, Juan Arreola, Octavio Arreola, Rosa and her husband, Hector Medina, Alfred and his wife, Mayra Arreola, Luis Arreola, Candy and her husband, Mario Valdivia, all of California; 1 sister-in-law, Eugenia Arreola of Las Vegas, Nevada; 1 brother-in-law, Jose Salazar of California; nieces and nephews, Michael, Destiny, Rhonda, Hailey, Carol, Belinda, Joseph, Mario, Jr., Giovanni, Steven, Natalie, Joel, Jose, Ismael, Ivan, Jessica, Jazmin, Marvin, Jay, Joshua, Hector, Jr., Stacie, Jonathan and Devony; and cousins, Cathy, William, Marvin, Rafael, Ramona, Carlos, Margarita, Challo and Juan.Victor was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jose Guadalupe Arreola, Jr.; and 2 sisters, Hilda Salazar and Rosa Elia Arreola.
