Wanda Jean Dreeszen

Wanda Jean Dreeszen, 71, of Hubbard, NE passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at a local hospital. 

A visitation with family present will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. 

Wanda was born June 2, 1950 in Primghar, Iowa, the daughter of William and Verla (Jenkins) Thomas.  Wanda attended school in the Washta and Quimby area and graduated in 1968.  She then attended Stewarts Cosmetology School.  Wanda married Mark Dreeszen on October 1, 1974 in Dakota City, NE.  To this union, three children were born.  Wanda worked at Walmart for 20 years. 

Survivors include her husband Mark Dreeszen; children:  Justin (Kristin) Dreeszen, Matthew Dreeszen and special friend Jennifer, and Rashell (Chad) Fischer; and seven grandchildren:  Lucas, Sophia, Anthony, Madison, Bryce, Mason, and Brady.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Verla, step-father Ed Kroll, father-in-law Ray Dreeszen, and brothers-in-law:  Larry Dreeszen and Doug Dreeszen.
