Wiliam "Bill" Wolf

William "Bill" Wolf, 78, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 7, 2013.Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.Bill was born in South Sioux City, NE on April 19, 1935, the son of Ruben and Genevieve (Moissant) Wolf. He graduated from South Sioux City High School. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany from 1958 to 1961, then in Ft. Lewis, WA from 1962 to 1964. After the service, Bill worked as Assistant Manager at the Corner Store until it closed. He then worked for Palmer Candy Company, retiring in 2008.He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in South Sioux City. He enjoyed bowling.Survivors include sister-in-law, Mary Wolf; brother-in-law, Kenneth "Shorty" Jones; many nieces, nephews and cousins.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Genevieve Wolf; a sister and her husband, Mae and Francis Eberly; sister, Bonnie Jones; and brother, Bob Wolf.
