William Vaughn Gesch

William ‘Vaughn’ Gesch, 58, of Amarillo, TX formerly of Winnebago, NE passed away Saturday, January 22, 2020 at Legacy Rehabilitation and Nursing in Amarillo, TX.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday January 27, 2020 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with a visitation one hour prior.  Mohr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Vaughn was born on September 2, 1961 in Pender, NE to Bill and Bernice (Nieman) Gesch.  He attended school at Winnebago up until the eighth grade when the family moved to Texas.  He attended River Road High School before enrolling in Texas State Technical Institute.  Vaughn worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for many years.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating with his dad.  They are finally together catching the ‘big ones’ that got away!  Vaughn was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother; Bernice of Amarillo, TX, sisters; Kathy Reaves of Lexington, NE, Cindy Wilburn of Amarillo, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his father.
