William John Wallwey, 68, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Emerson, NE passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Omaha.Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.William was born on January 16, 1946 to Elmer and Elsie Wallwey in Pender, NE. Bill worked in the banking and insurance industry, as well as farming on the original land homesteaded by his family.He was an avid shooter, who was a sporting clays expert. He also enjoyed woodworking.Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara of Omaha; two daughters, Dianne Wallwey and her husband, John Engstler of Spencer, IA, and Dee Drozd and her husband, David of Papillion, NE; his granddaughter, Allison Drozd of Papillion; three sisters, Babette Garder of Petersburg, NE, Wilma Morse and her husband, Jim of Henning, MN, and Marilyn Johnson and her friend, Linda Kennedy of Hinton, IA; sisters-in-law, Joyce Williams of South Sioux City, and Charlene Jensen of Hubbard, NE; an aunt, Mildred Johnson of California; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
