Wyatt Lee Mackling

Wyatt Lee Mackling, 5-month-old son of Ryan and Miranda Mackling of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Ponca, NE and Waterbury, NE passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at an Omaha hospital, following complications from the congenital heart defect hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He was in his Mother's arms, surrounded by his family.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca, NE with Rev. Dr. Neal Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in rural Ponca, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:00 A.M. at the church, prior to the funeral. Wyatt was an unbelievably good baby. He had a good soul with a great demeanor. He was a very alert baby; always very aware of who was around and what was going on. He enjoyed baths, getting licks on the head by his dogs, watching and yelling for the Lakers, watching his fish swim around in the fish tank, being outside, snuggling with his mommy, and laughing at his daddy. Wyatt was such a blessing and we made sure to tell him that every day. The four months his mommy and daddy got to spend out of the hospital and at home with him were the absolute happiest time of their lives. He touched so many and made those who loved him better people. You will never be forgotten Bubba.
