Mary was born on October 17, 1950 in Grand Island, NE to Allen and Dorothy (Bockman) Williams. She graduated from Kenesaw High School. She married Clifford Wiseman on August 1, 1969 in Juniata, Nebraska. To this union, two children were born. Cliff passed away in early 2021 and it left Mary heartbroken. May they now be together again. Mary helped her husband and brother-in-law to run and operate a steakhouse in Juniata. After moving to Emerson, Mary was employed at DV Industries and Emerson-Hubbard High School, then the last 20 years at Blue Ox. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee. Mary was a selfless woman who continually helped others. As her many acts of kindness, she would donate to several charities a month without telling anyone about it. She enjoyed going for walks, doing yardwork and going to the casino. She was a big supporter of the Dakota Valley girls’ basketball team, where her daughter and son-in-law are head coaches, but Mary’s true love and joy came from spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a great wife, mom, grandmother, sister, neighbor, and friend and will be missed and cherished by many.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Tammy (Rob) Lilly of Sioux City; son Tom (Becki) Wiseman of Wayne, NE; grandchildren: Reagan, Jaxson, Reece, and Schyler; sisters: Betty (Steve) Juedeman, Greeley, CO, Wanda Dana, Lincoln, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Cliff; and sister’s and brother’s-in-law: Dianne Averill, Sandy Judy, Babe Wiseman and Chuck Wiseman.
