Bob was known for his outgoing personality, his sense of humor, and his love for his family.  He loved vintage cars and was a member of 2 car clubs:  The Sioux City Strollers and The Vintage Wheels.  Bob belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge and was a member of Triangle Lodge #643 and the Abu Bekr Shrine.  He enjoyed being a Hospital Dad and a Shrine Clown (Bo Bo).  He was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.  Bob knew no strangers and touched the hearts of every single person he encountered.

Bob is survived by his wife Periann of Sioux City; sons Ken and Troy, daughter Dawn (Mike) Carper; grandson Shane Carper; granddaughter Brianna White; and great-grandson Asher Carper; brother Larry Boyce; sisters Lois (Vern) Miller and Linda (Jim) Martindale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
