Sue D. Pansegrau

September 18, 1941 — January 8, 2023

Sue Deanne Pansegrau, 81, of Ft. Peck, Montana, passed away at her home in Texas.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 14th at 1:30 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Visitation will be from 1-1:30 p.m.  Burial will be at Rademacher Cemetery in Rural Hinton, IA.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.


Sue was born in Sioux City, IA on September 18, 1941 to Irvin and Bernice (Ferguson) Junck. Sue graduated from Hinton High School in 1959. She continued education at Lutheran Hospital school of Nursing and achieved her nursing degree in September of 1962. She met the love of her life Don in 1960 at Lutheran Hospital.


She received Bachelors degree in Accounting at Texas Woman’s College 1975. In the 1980’s she started working in the NICU until March 1990. She was united in marriage to Donald Pansegrau on August 26, 1962. Sue and Don moved to Texas in 1969.
Sue loved to volunteer at North Dallas Shared Ministry’s starting in the 1980s, going there several days a week to serve. She was a devoted mother and wife, and she was dedicated to her children and her marriage. Sue was very involved with her and Don’s businesses, in addition she volunteered in most every position in the children’s schools and extracurricular activities. Sue’s hobbies were gardening, knitting, sewing, and she loved a good puzzle.


Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Donald Pansegrau, Ft. Peck, MT; Her children Timothy Pansegrau and his wife Kelly and their children Lauren, Reed, Grace and Katherine, Curt Pansegrau and his wife Karin and their children Sophie and Max, and Karen (Pansegrau) Shafer and her husband Nathan and their children Ryan, Joshua, Rachael, and Daniel.


She is preceded in death by her patents; Irvin and Bernice Junck, her brother Darryll Junck.


In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Dallas Shared ministries or Covenant House.
