Dale Meyer was born in Albion, Nebraska and came to Sioux City as a young child with his family in 1964. He graduated from Bishop Heelan High School, Wayne State College and Indiana College of Mortuary Science where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. In 1979, he returned to Sioux City to join the family business where he became a partner in 1991. Dale and his wife, Lori O'Neill were married in 1980. They have two grown daughters Kaitlynn and Shayli.
Jennifer (Seger) Harry, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota licensed funeral director was raised in O'Neill, Nebraska. She graduated from O'Neill High School in 2003 and attended Wayne State College. Jenni received her mortuary education through KCKCC in Kansas City, Kansas. She started working at Meyer Brothers Funeral Homes in August 2005. Jenni married Joshua Harry in 2012 and they welcomed their daughter Gemma in March of 2014. Jenni enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
Daniel J. Seger, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota licensed funeral director, was raised in Gordon, Nebraska until moving to O'Neill, Nebraska from which he graduated from O'Neill Public Schools in 1980. Dan obtained his BS in Finance from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1984. He worked selling medical supplies before returning to O'Neill to work alongside his father, Warren R. Seger, in the petroleum marketing operation, of Seger Oil Company for 13 years. Dan obtained his Mortuary Science Degree at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, and completed his requirements for licensure in Nebraska through an apprenticeship at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson, Nebraska and Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell, along with Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Dan was the resident funeral director in Scottsbluff for seven years before relocating in April of 2008 to Sioux City where he has been working at the Meyer Brothers Funeral Homes. He enjoys spending time with his family, and working around his home. Dan's wife, Nanette, works at Klinger Companies in Sioux City. His oldest daughter Jennifer is a licensed funeral director in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota working at Meyer Brothers Funeral Homes. Dan's youngest daughter Dacia Weir is a funeral director at Meyer Brothers Funeral Homes and is also licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. Dan's a proud grandfather of Gemma Lea, daughter of Jenni and Josh Harry, and Logan Elaine daughter of Dacia and Dylan Weir.
Paul W. Carlson, licensed in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, was born and raised in Sioux City and graduated from Sioux City North in 1985 and Morningside College in 1989 with a B.S. in Business Administration. After Working in the management program with Payless Cashways in the Omaha area for 7 years returned to school in 1995 at Worsham School of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1996. He returned to Sioux City where he served his internship at Nelson-Berger Funeral Service and then obtained his Funeral Directors licenses in 1997 and went on staff as a funeral director. He has also been employed as manager of the Schroeder Funeral home in Akron, IA, and funeral director at Fratzke and Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, IA and returned to Meyer Brothers in Sioux City in August of 2006. Paul is licensed in three states Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. Paul and his wife Julie have three boys. Julie is employed in the South Sioux City Community Schools. In his free time Paul enjoys watching his boys playing sports and coaching baseball, golfing, taking family walks, swimming and spending time with his family.
